Our driver will pick you up from the airport or from your hotel. You will then depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. Here you will stop by to view the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpments. This will be your first encounter with nature. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After checking in, you will embark on a thrilling afternoon game drive. The reserve is known to have a variety and abundance of different wildlife species. Dinner and overnight stay at Zebra Plains Mara Camp/ Basecamp/Mara Sopa
After having your breakfast, with your picnic lunch, you will set out for a full day game drive in the reserve. The reserve has wide open landscapes with fertile riverine by the Mara and Talek rivers. Here the annual great migration of the wildebeests takes place in the months of July to early October. Millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate through the Mara River from Serengeti into the reserve. You will have the chance to spot wildlife such as the big 5 animals, buffalos, zebras, grants and Thompsons gazelles. The reserve is a major research centre for the spotted hyena.
You will be woken up early in the morning for a morning game drive. Return to the lodge/camp for a hefty breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Enroute you will have your lunch at Narok. The lake is at the floor of the rift valley and is said to be a soda lake. The pink lake often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos. Over 400 bird species are found here. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhinos too. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp
On the 4 th day of your safari, you will head for Amboseli National Park.. It is one of the most popular sanctuaries. It lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest mountain in Africa. On arrival, you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest. You will then head for an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa/ Sentrim Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drive will introduce you to the large elephant’s herds and other animals in the park. An optional visit to the Masai villages will introduce you to the culture and lifestyle of the Masai warriors. They welcome visitors with songs and dances and showing them around their homesteads. You will have your lunch at the observation hill as you see the swamps, herds of elephants bathing. The chances of seeing the cats emerge from there hide outs in the evening is quit high.
You will be woken up for your breakfast then load you luggage into the van ready to depart for Nairobi. Enroute, you will enjoy a leisurely game drive as you exit the park. Our driver will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport.
