On the 2 nd day of your safari, you will wake up early in the morning for an early morning game drive in
the reserve. Return for your breakfast before heading out for a full day game drive with your packed lunch. With the day set aside, you will be able to sight wildlife in the reserve. You will visit the Ewaso Nyiro River which is the main source of water for the nearby community and the reserve at large.

Animals such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, gerenuk, elephants, Somali ostrich and grevys zebra. You will also see the wild dog which is very common in the reserve. You can have an optional visit to the Samburu cultural village where you can learn about how the people here survive in the environment. Dinner and Overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

You will enjoy your sumptuous breakfast, load your luggage into the van and depart for the Olpejeta Conservancy which is located in the Mt. Kenya region. The conservancy is known to have a high ration of game which offers a great game viewing experience. Arrive for lunch at the Serena Sweetwaters . After lunch you will have the chance to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is a home to abandoned and orphaned chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

With the fresh mountain air, you will spend this day spotting wildlife in the reserve. An early morning game drive will give you a pleasant view of the mountain peak if the weather is favourable. There are possible upclose sightings of the big 5 animals:-elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards. Our driver guide will help you spot and identify wildlife as you drive through the conservancy.

You will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after having your breakfast. It is famous for its large flocks of the greater and lesser flamingos which make the lake shores a pink stretch. It has over 400 bird species and a considerable number of wildlife which makes it a beautiful wildlife haven. The park is surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. You will have your lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp which will also be your stay for the night.

You will wake up to a delicious breakfast before departing to the renowned National Reserve- The Masai Mara National Reserve. Enroute to your camp/lodge you will enjoy a game drive which will introduce you to this diverse reserve. Arrive at the camp/lodge for lunch. You will have ample time to check in, enjoy your lunch and relax. At 1600hrs you will embark on afternoon game drive.

A morning and afternoon game drive will be ideal for you so that you can be able to explore what the reserve has to offer. You will leave the camp/lodge early in the morning right after your breakfast with your packed lunch. You will be able to spot both the nocturnal and diurnal animals as they are active in the morning before the sun sends them into their hide outs. You will visit the Mara River where you can spot the crocodiles as they bask on the rocks and as hippos wallow in the waters. If your visit falls in between the months of July- early October, you will witness the 7th wonder of the world- the annual wildebeest migration – where wildebeests and zebras migrate from the Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara Reserve through this river.

Right after your breakfast, you will load your luggage into the van and depart for Nairobi. You will be transferred to the Wilson airport where you will have a short flight to Diani. On arrival you will be transferred to the Diani Beach Resort which will be your home for the next 4 days. On these days you will spend your time at leisure, swimming, exploring and relaxing on the sandy beaches. You can also engage in water sports that are available at the resort. Enjoy walking along the beaches too.

This being your last day of safari with us, you will enjoy your breakfast and then be transferred to the airport for you flight back to Nairobi.
