The World’s only Wildlife Capital

A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and the walking trails for hikers.

Half Day Excursion Nairobi National Park Day

You will be picked from your Nairobi Hotel at 0630hrs for your half day excursion at the Nairobi National Park which is known to be the only park within a city. In the morning hours you will get to have many sightings of different types of wild animals.

Nairobi National Park has a diverse range of habitats and different types of species. From the open grasslands with scattered acacia bushes to the highland forests which has yellow barked acacia trees. You will see animals such as the lions, buffalos, black rhinos, baboons, hartebeests, masai giraffes, elands and many others. At 1100hrs you will exit the park and visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage which is located at the exit of the park. You will see the baby elephants being fed on milk or as they take a bath in the mad. Drop off at your hotel.
