On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking,picnic and game drives.
You will depart Nairobi driving towards the Great Rift Valley. You will have a stopover at the View Point which will be your first encounter in the wild. You will see the walls of the escarpments and the deep valleys and the endless plains. You will arrive at the pink lake often referred to as due to its great masses of flamingos. You will check in to the camp, have your lunch and set out for an afternoon game drive. The park has over 400 bird species making it a bird watchers paradise. It is home to the endangered species i.e. the Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino. Animals such as lions, waterbuck’s buffalos and baboons are found here.

After breakfast you will depart Lake Nakuru National Park for your next destination. The Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrival will be in time for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on afternoon game drive which will introduce you to the famous reserve mainly known for its annual great migration which happens between the months of July to early October. The migration of millions of wildebeests moves from the northern part of the Serengeti National Park into the reserve in search of pasture.
Dinner and overnight stay at Olmoran Tented Camp/ Enchoro Tented Camp/ Lenchada tourist Camp
The 3rd and 4th days of your safari will be spent in the reserve. After having your breakfast, you will leave the camp with packed lunch so as to have ample time as you explore the reserve. You will set in search of the big 5 animals and the plethora of wildlife in the vast reserve. The reserve has incredible wide open landscapes, riverine, woodlands and open savannahs. The Talek and Mara rivers run through the reserve. It has amazing wildlife such as the lions, impalas, hartebeests, spotted hyenas, elephants, impalas, zebras, buffaloes, Masai giraffes and many more. The lions can be spotted basking in the sun after having a meal or in their hunting.
