Overview

Maasai Mara (Maasai Mara) is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, located in south-west Kenya.

Together with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, it constitutes one of Africa’s most diversified, magnificent, and spectacular ecosystems, as well as possibly the world’s best safari big game viewing eco-system.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve covers 1,510 square kilometers (580 square miles) and rises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. When the conservancies are included, the area is at least double the size. It is home to around 95 animal species and over 570 bird species.

This is The World Cup of Wildlife, and there is no better venue in the world to see what the Maasai Mara and Serengeti National Park offer.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked by our driver from your hotel and drive through Westland’s to the Great Rift Valley View Point. You will have a stopover then proceed to the reserve. The reserve is situated at the southwest of Kenya. Arrival at the camp/lodge will be in time for lunch. You will enjoy your lunch as you familiarise with the environment before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge.

Day 02 Full Day Game Drive Masai Mara National Reserve.

You will be woken up early in the morning to have your breakfast before setting out for a full day game drive. You will have the opportunity to search for animals such as the elephants, lions, antelopes, rhinos, buffaloes etc. The great migration of wildebeest from the Serengeti takes place in the months of July to early October. You will have your lunch at a selected spot in the reserve.

After lunch you will proceed on a game drive in search of animals not seen. Thereafter return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

In the early morning, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in search of both nocturnal and diurnal animals and the cats as they hunt before the hot sun sends them into hiding. Return for your breakfast before departing for Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your outbound flight.
